The King's Kids Youth Development Center is a Norfolk-based 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to empowering children aged 3 to 12 through affordable, faith-based education. Serving ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) families and at-risk youth, we provide programs that nurture faith, knowledge, creativity, life skills, and social growth while addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Guided by Christian values, our mission is to inspire compassionate, confident individuals ready to thrive in all areas of life.

Development Programs

Early childhood and afterschool programs are essential for fostering,® positive outcomes for children and families. High-quality programs boost academic performance, build social skills, and provide children with safe, enriching environments to grow and thrive. They also offer working parents reliable childcare, strengthening family stability and community well-being.

Our Programs

  • Preschool (Ages 3-4): Early learning through play and exploration.
  • Pre-Kindergarten (Ages 4-5): Preparing kids for school success.
  • After School (Ages 5-12): Safe, engaging care beyond school hours.
  • *Break Camps: Spring Break, Summer Camps, and Out of School Times offer fun, supportive learning environments for pre-k and school-age children.
